In numerous ways, I think I’m in the midst of a style revolution. When I started here at PurseBlog, I was a maximalist through and through. I loved jewels, fringe and embellishments so much that it became my trademark. While I still love my bold details, I’ve discovered that when I choose pieces to write about lately, I’ve been gravitating toward minimal silhouettes.
The fall shoes that are currently available are good, and I imply really good. As new arrivals began to trickle into some of my favorite retailers, I rapidly found myself fantasizing over all the shoes I wish I could have, and I thought I would share my wish list with all of you. I’ve come a long way from debating over my Valentino Rockstuds–check out all of my shoe crushes for fall 2016, below!
Gucci Princetowm GG Blooms Slipper
$695 through Gucci
I’m amazed I love this shoe as much as I do, but like I said, things are changing. In fact, I could have picked any of Gucci’s Princetown loafers (Yes, even the ones with the ones with the fur–they just look so cozy!), but the neutral-and-blue color combo would go best with my wardrobe.
Christian Louboutin Sova Broda Jeweled Sandal
$1,695 through Neiman Marcus
See, I still love crystals.
Rag & Bone Ashby leather ankle Boots
$525 through Net-a-Porter
I’m going to Ireland in November, and these boots would be equipped to deal with whatever weather comes my way.
Sam Edelman Yarin Suede Peep-Toe Bootie
$160 through Neiman Marcus
Transitional booties for under $200? sim por favor!
Alexandre Birman Clarita Bow-Embellished velvet Sandals
$695 through Net-a-Porter
For a shoe this gorgeous, I’ll find an excuse to wear it as often as I can.
Aquazzura Wild Russian Mink fur Sandal
$895 through Bergdorf Goodman
You know I’ve been keeping a close eye on Aquazzura, and I’m a fan. Needless to say, it was very easy to find I pair I want in my closet.
Stuart Weitzman Highland Over the Knee Boot
$798 through Nordstrom
Stuart Weitzman’s Highland Boots have been on my fall wish list for a few years. The moderate, chunky heel is practical, while the thigh-high upper balances it with a lot of sex appeal. maybe this will be the year I bite the bullet and splurge?
Christian Louboutin So Kate Python Pumps
$1,395 through Net-a-Porter
This is a wish list, after all, so of course I had to add an exotic pair.
Adidas Superstar Sneaker
$85 through Nordstrom
Fashion sneakers are here to stay, and I’m certainly not complaining. I currently own two pairs of Adidas’s popular Superstar sneaker, but I think a third might be necessary.
Vince Blair slip On Sneakers
$195 through ShopBop
And another pair of sneakers, these with a slightly less sporty look.
Nicholas Kirkwood Casati Pearly Heel Suede Loafers
$650 through Saks
I practically purchased these Nicholas Kirkwood loafers a couple of months ago, and now I’m experiencing non-buyer’s remorse.
Gianvito Rossi Margaux Mid velvet ankle Boots
$975 through MyTheresa
Gianvito Rossi is certainly one of top five favorite shoe designers. I recently explained why his designs resonate with so numerous shoe lovers, and I think Rossi’s velvet boots would be very fun to wear.
